- Briley is my first Gordon, he's 2 1/2 years old. I am in love with this breed. My husband and I enjoy grouse (partridge) hunting with Briley and my 3 1/2 year old Golden Retriever Boston. I also enjoy training & competing both my dogs in Rally & Obedience. Both dogs are also certified therapy dogs.

Update on Briley
I know it's been quite some time since I've done any updates on our very unhealthy Gordon. Last year we were struggling with many issues ranging from hair loss to wieght loss and many other issues. I thank everyone for their support & recommendations. We almost lost Briley (at a young age of only 2) due to his health. Help with Sickly Gordon
Hi everyone! I'm hoping someone out there can help solve some health issues I'm having with my 1 1/2 year old male Gordon. The begining of July this year I noticed my Gordon's tail was losing hair, had a "rat tail" appearence. I took him to the vet and we did a thyroid test, which came back negative. We tried special shampoos & sprays which had no effect on him. He started losing more hair on his tail and started getting a patchy tummy.
