- Orig. from NJ I have three grown children. I am a retired Registered Nurse and live in the sea coast village of New Harbor, Maine. I have lived with and loved four marvelous Gordon Setters.....Ch. Carmond's Wee Doch an Doras, CGC (Doc), Allilou's Standing Ovation, CGC (Kristie), Ch. Seagem's Alilou Maeve (Maeve) and Ch. Fair Isle St. Andrew's Faith (Faith). When I retired I said my life had "gone to the dogs" as I had become an evaluator for Therapy Dog International.......it took up a great deal of my time and I loved it and worked both Doc and Kristie together weekly at the Miles Memorial Hosp. Campus and elsewhere when time and opportunity arose. I was instrumental in setting up protocal for therapy dogs at that campus. Currently I am without a Gordon physically in my life.......but hold my four in their very special place in my heart.
