Thanks to Jim for the invitation. I do not have an interest in hunting myself, but I have one (out of two) Gordons who has potential. She has one JH leg and shouldn't have a problem finishing that title with a little help! Lillie is actually here ...

For all those who love to work their Gordons to share and discuss training and handling tips, talk about field work, field trials, share field trial results, etc.

we went with no expectations other than to have a good time. The Specials line up was very impressive, having multi Best in Show dogs in the line up. Edward and I are really honored to have won in such a strong group of dogs.

Well done! Congratulations:)

About Me:
I've had a Gordon in my life since May 11, 1986, before that I had an Irish Setter for 12 years, and a yellow Labrador for 15 (overlapped with the Gordons). I presently live with Ronan, aka Am. Ch Sassenach Roads Scholar, RN, who is a bright, cheeky, and cuddly seven year old. I am retired now and Ronan and I are working towards his Rally Advanced title. We also now have a new roommate, Lillie, Am/Can Ch. Hernwood Diamond Lil, who stayed in Newport to finish her American championship and is now learning the whoa and recall to finish her junior hunter title. We may even try Rally while she's here! If I can keep her awake long enough!

Thanks! I like it a lot too. Unfortunately, the photo really had a bad case of 'red eye' and the auto fix left it looking really weird in the eyes. I really should get around to fixing that because, even though it was just a quick photo, it's one of my favourites of his head.

Hello Jani , thank you for your nice comments , we do love our boy , he is Irish Show Champion Laurelhach Playwright , by Antti and Qanti , bred by of course Frances Boxall . We always have had Irish as well . Keenan is a pure Irish Name and we are interested to know the full name and address of your friends relative as we possibly will know of them , Abbeyleix is not too big a place . Regards Fran and Marie

Thank you! Yes, he is doing better. He still and probably always will have his issues & need to be carefully monitered. He looks and acts 100% better! The breeder has been more than supportive & helpful throughout this entire period. They have given their thoughts & ideas & have been in very close contact via phone & e-mails. We live several states away, so unfortunetly we haven't been able to do any communication in person. I have found a wonderful homeopathic doctor that I credit for getting Briley healthier. We're hoping to start switching him back to a dog food within the next month. Right now he's on a cooked diet of hamburger, sweet potato, kelp, fish oil, zinc, salt & supplements. We need to try eggs & dairy yet to make sure he doesn't react. He's had us on a very interesting ride since he came to us, but well worth it. He is our first Gordon and even with all of our struggles (& there have been many!) & am completly sold on this breed!
