- About Me:
- Got my first Gordon in 1978 from Carol Laurie (Carorae)and they have being part of my life every since, showing, breeding and judging. I was fortunate to own Sh Ch Carorae Ingenuous of Bryerdale (DOB 26/3/1980) and all my Gordons, except Rodney, go back to Ellie. I only breed occasionally but have bred 2 dogs who won CCs and others who have won Res CCs and stud books numbers. Rodney was very kindly given to me in 2006 by Chris and Pete Sandiford and Claire Lewis. He was bred by Chris and Pete out of their beautiful girl Chime, Sh Ch/Am Ch Greenglens Glass Chime at Hernwood, by Am Ch Winsomes Music Maker. Rodney has always done well in the show ring and continues to do so but more than that he is a dream to live with! I feel blessed to have friends like Chris, Pete and Claire.

Leeds Win
Well done all the winners but I must mention my dear friends Pauline and Alan Smith. They have had Gordons for over 20 years and at Leeds won their first Res CC with their young dog Celtaur Bealtuinn of Palangor JW.
I missed it as I was competing in the Veteran Stakes with Hernwood Texas Ranger ShCM(he came 4th out of 26!). Bealtuinn is half Bryerdale and half Lochfain. His sire is Bryerdale Hijacker of Palangor who will be 13 in September,well done Henry. There is more of a connection with the… Continue

Puppies at last!
Bryerdale are pleased to announce that after 2 years of trying we have a litter. Rosie had 12 pups yesterday by Martyn Bayleys dog Taba. All doing well but I'm exhausted!!

Congratulations to Punkin aka Black Anvil Q.T.Pie owned by Phyliss Perrelli and Vanessa Cappello, also to handler/ and I'm sure groomer! by Claire Lewis on gaining her title. Had an text from Claire from America to tell me this great news

- I think the only things Maggie loves more than water are my two godsons, Daniel and James, we go camping at least once a year and I lose Maggie when the boys are there to give her lots of love. She is so gentle with children but about the naughtiest girl I have ever had the pleasure to own, but a wonderful companion.
So funny when she first went into the water, following Rufus you have never seen so much splashing, she tried to run on top of the water on the way out. As you can see from the photos she as got it worked out now and is a strong swimmer. Dan goes to Iceland at whit with school, so James and I are going camping with Maggie, plenty of long walks and fun. Glad to see you are still into Gordons. Although I still work for myself I have taken my pension early from my Post Office so I have more time for dogs again, looking for a dog puppy, see you in the show ring soon I hope, but will not be rushed, I mean to be very selective about my next Gordon, any advice gladly recieved. Took James to see is first show at the weekend (WELKS) saw some old friends and Had a long chat to Josie Badely She seemed very pleased to see me again.

- Thank you for the welcome. I'll add photos when I figure it out. I loved Music Maker. I actually lost Liberty in July at the age of 14 1/2 but I cannot yet bear to not include her in my family. She was my first Gordon and started it all for me. I still think of her and miss her everyday. Cindy
