We just got news, that instead of Frank Kane (UK), this show we will have Laurent Pichard (Switzerland). I have never heard of this guy, and wanted to know, has anyone shown a gordon under him?? Has this judge ever judged gordon setters??
I think it would just be nice to know a little about him. I tried to google him, but without any success (except lots of poodle shows).
I know Laurent Pichard, he is very correct and prefer a real gordon in standard with nice head ....he breeds american cocker very successful!!! I like to show my gordons under this judge, he is very fair....I have heard only correct results of him!
Best wishes
Ilona
If you would enter under Frank Kane, you can enter under Laurent Pichard as well. they prefer the same type of dogs in gordon setters.
he's a famous American cocker breeder.
His affix is 'very vigie' and 'de la vigie'.
His most famous American cocker at the moment is Very Vigie Vamos a la Playa, who won the Eukanuba world challlenge in 2007! Apart from American cockers, he also breeds English cockers and occasionally weimaraners;

Thank you everybody for the answers! :)
At least I know something about him. I´m looking forward showing Carreras in the end of February :)
The thing here in Iceland is, we have only (CAC) 3 shows per year (+some club shows) and usually we don´t know which judge is going to judge each breed until like 2-3 weeks before the show, which is quite annoying, as you enter the dog without knowing the judge....
