CHIME the end.......

Hernwood Gordon setter has just lost one of our great dogs - CHIME -

She was all American bred and imported to the UK many years ago, where she gave us a fanstic American bred litter, including a group winner, and a grandson group winner. She won 5 CC's. Qualified for the veteran stakes Final. A great mum & grandma. Was only swimming and running around the field the other day, She was nearly 14 years old when she passed away suddenly on the 8th Feburary 2010.

Treatment for Crucial Ligament Rupture?

My big (85 pound) Gordon ruptured his crucial anterior ligament. I've talked with two vets who recommend TPLO surgery. One says TTA. There seems to be a lot of differing opinions as to the best treatment for this. The recovery for these surgeries seems to be very long and restrictive.

Have you had an experience with either of these surgeries? I would love to hear from you.

thank you ladies. He's the greatest and takes part in every part of my life. I work as a german teacher on a high school and tomorrow Hades will come with me and the kids will learn how to discribe their pets in german by using him as an example.
